Teeth Whitening

Teeth whitening has become one of the most popular esthetic dental services. Everyone wants a whiter, brighter smile. Here we offer both in-office and at-home whitening treatments.

We will be happy to discuss with you the different whitening treatment options and help you decide which method is the most suitable for you and your teeth.

There are many over-the-counter whitening systems available today. But these do not usually give people the results they are hoping for.

In our office, we look at your overall oral health and the health of your teeth, as well as your dental history.  Each patient's needs are different and we strive to meet the specific needs of every patient.

Dental Veneers

Another popular and helpful treatment is dental veneers. These will hide chips, cracks, uneven edges and gaps, and can also be used on a tooth or teeth with significant discoloration that doesn't respond to teeth whitening.

A dental veneer is not just a cosmetic treatment. Covering chips and cracks will help to prevent bacteria from entering the tooth, which can cause weakness, tooth decay and in some cases tooth loss.

Again, we will be glad to talk with you about whether one or more dental veneers would be a good option for you.

Invisalign®

Invisalign® is an orthodontic system that helps to straighten your teeth using a series of clear, BPA-free plastic aligners (see photo).

How it works: One of our specially trained dentists will take x-rays and impressions of your teeth and mouth and scan them into a computer, which will create a digital 3-D image of them. We will then map out a personal treatment plan for you, and tell you the approximate length of time it will take. Invisalign® treatment often takes about 12 months, but this will vary depending on the degree of correction needed. About every two weeks, you will receive a new aligner, until the desired results are achieved.

In comparison to traditional braces, Invisalign® aligners have several advantages:

  • Nearly invisible. Eliminates the self-confidence issues often associated with wearing metal braces.
  • More comfortable. The aligners are smooth, and they gently and gradually move your teeth into alignment without the need for metal brackets or wires to tighten.
  • Removable. You can remove your aligner during meals, when you clean and floss your teeth, and for social events, photos, etc.

The Invisalign® system is particularly effective for people—adults as well as teens—who have crowded teeth or spaces between their teeth, or any of a wide variety of other dental problems.

We will be happy to evaluate and discuss with you your particular situation and needs.
